1. NBPTS will release scores tomorrow to individual candidates through their My Profile accounts on www.nbpts.org. It is considered to be a private release only to these candidates. NC DPI will not have reports of the new candidates at that time.
2. I am anticipating PUBLIC score release to be after the Thanksgiving holiday (but that's not official). At that time, I will be provided the names of the new NBCTs, the total number of new NBCTs and other data reports. I will send to the Salary and the Licensure Divisions at NCDPI this list as soon as I get it.
3. For verification of renewal credits towards the SP2 license, please ask candidates, whether they certified or not, to provide you a copy of their score report from NBPTS.
4. The retake application is live https://nbpts.dpi.state.nc.us/retake/retake_login.asp. NC has funds to support 2,000 retake applications on a first come, first served basis. Please remind any unsuccessful candidates that NBPTS is a three year process and to continue on the journey.
